This was the earliest shoot WE have ever done, except for our 3am Grand Place shoot, of course! We had our doubts about whether the family would arrive on time, what the condition of the Grand Place would be at 6am and most important – whether two kids would give us smiles so early in the morning. While the condition of the Grand Place was initially horrendous, the square was quickly cleaned and our shoot went extremely well. Leave it to us to choose the morning after Belgium played in a World Cup Soccer match! Real. Smart.:)
It turns out that it was actually all for the best. The Haywards arrived on time, we finished our shoot by 8am(despite having to shoot around a large number of cleaning trucks), and the kids were just great! One thing that was clear to us is that this family is run like a well-oiled machine. You'll see from the pictures that Mary and Laurent are as cute as they come. They laugh and smile with/at each other in a way that shows their respect and love for their family. WE were also so happy that their kids were well-behaved, happy kids! Thanks, Mary and Laurent for a great morning shoot. Thanks for allowing us into your lives and a huge thanks to Mary for allowing us both to get to know you over the past 2.5 years.
WE will miss you, but we are so excited for you – that you are going back to Cali, Cali, Cali! Okay, maybe we are a little jealous too!:)
BTW, The first two PICS are NOT a pat of the shoot! They are just there because Mary's a good sport and wanted you to see just how bad the Grand Place was when we got there!
