Kim is the girliest girl I know. We have several moms from school in our little town outside of Brussels. I love this group. They are relaxed, honest, open, and funny. We meet once a month to catch up over a glass of wine. Several of us walk or run there in order to justify how much we will eat….drink….or both, so yoga pants and workout clothing is not uncommon. But, then Kim arrives. She always looks like a million bucks in a gorgeous dress with her heels. It gives us an opportunity to laugh at ourselves and our subpar appearances. So last night, our little group met, and we celebrated Kim because sadly their family will be returning to the US much sooner than planned. In honor or Kim, we chose to forgo our yoga pants and spandex for dresses and heels. Just for her. Because we wanted to show her just how special she is to all of us. I think she was impressed with how we all clean up. Haha!
Before their departure, Kim wanted to be sure and have family pictures in Belgium. Villers Abbey in the morning is always the perfect choice. Photographing three boys is a lot of fun. You just have to go with it. They aren't going to sit still at the same time. They aren't going to look at the camera at the same time. And, smiling all at once may happen occasionally. But, these three are a bit of an exception. Their mama takes a lot of pictures of them on their travels, so they are used to it. Thanks Kim for such fine training! And, we were thrilled Nana could join in for some pictures as well. WE know just how special it is to have visitors, especially family, joining us in Belgium.
Wes and Kim, we are sad to see you go, but WE know you will be successful wherever you settle. WE wish you all the best in this next adventure. May your new place in Louisiana feel like home. Much love to you all and thank you for choosing WE Photography!
