Two days after our shoot, life became quite different for this family of four. Their oldest was off to Canada to start university (WE don't want to think about those days yet,) and WE were happy to capture one of their last days in Belgium all under one roof. Our morning started in the Grand Place, which is in our humble opinion, a fabulous place to do a "Belgian style" shoot. While enjoying a coffee together at Starbucks after the shoot, WE had mentioned that we wanted an opportunity to shoot the Butte du Lion in Waterloo.
Well as it turns out, the Lion is practically in their backyard. So, that evening WE went out to do a little practicing with sunset pics and grab a few more of this beautiful family in the place they call home. There was just something about this family that made spending extra time with them something we wanted to do. This was definitely one of those days when we thank God for the opportunity to meet and spend time with wonderful families. It was a relaxed, fun, and beautiful day. Truly a perfect evening to spend time together. Thank you Sonya, Nic and family! We can't wait to hear updates on University life, life at a new school for the youngest member of the family, a new job for Dad and perhaps with a new dog for the whole family??:)
